The Dominican Resistance Memorial Museum safeguards the memory of those who resisted the Trujillo dictatorship, the Triumvirate governments, and the twelve Balaguer years. More than 350,000 items bear witness to the struggle for freedom.
Opened in 2024 by MMRD and the German Embassy, this temporary exhibition traces the East German communist dictatorship (1949–1989) and the memory processes that followed the fall of the Berlin Wall.
